[Review]L’oreal Paris Lineur Intense

Liquid eyeliners are my holy grail of all makeup products. I tired the L’oreal Paris Lineur Intense in Carbon Black. This product retails for $8.99. After I got this product, I realize there is two different kinds of eyeliner with the same name. However, I ended up getting the one with a very long brush; which I was not too trilled about. I did find it a bit hard to apply but that was due to the way that the brush was shaped.

That was what the product looks like, the eyeliner I ended up picking up had a shorter handle for the brush in comparison to the other version of the same product.

The handle is short and the brush part is very long and I find that this makes it harder to control especially if I want a really fine line or if I want to do a cat eye.

However, I absolutely love how dark the color is. All the above lines were done by just one stroke. There is amazing color payoff.

Water Test

This product was not mentioned to be waterproof, however I wanted to see how the eyeliner is affected once it is near water. I find that the color simply just fade away as water was run on it. Eventually this was the end result, however there was not much smudging.

The first picture is when I first applied the eyeliner. I love how dark this eyeliner is.

This is how the eyeliner looked after about 12 hours. I find that the color did fade a bit but it was not very noticeable and the color is still very dark. However, I did find that it began to crack (especially at the inner and outer corner of my eye).

  • Very pigmented and dark
  • Easy to remove-I removed with simply water and face wash no makeup remover was necessary
  • Moderately affordable (CVS sold this for $8.99)

  • The brush design makes it hard to control
  • I did see cracking after a whole day
  • It took a while to dry (longer than my usual liquid eyeliner)

Overall, I would not repurchase this product. I find that the brush design makes it very hard to control and I def. prefer my Revlon Colorstay Liquid Eyeliner a lot more.
